Polycarbonate panes

For constructing MERIDIAN enclosures it is used 10 mm width polycarbonate from Germany with 10 year guarantee!

Multi-wall polycarbonate is lightweight due to the presence special cavities ("cells"). Such sheets are composed of parallel plates and thin bridges between them (the so-called ribs). Air, which is filled the void cells, provides high thermal insulation properties of the material, and ribs - most structural reliability at a relatively low weight.

Solid polycarbonate has good strength, transparency, relatively low flammability and flexibility.

Solid polycarbonate is the most durable of all the existing transparent materials. The actual life span of solid polycarbonate is very large.
